Role Purpose:

The Stockroom Supervisor will be responsible for effectively managing, back of house team, stock and all products within the store, to ensure compliance with all Company and UAE Health & Safety and Security regulations. To ensure that the stock room is organized, and that stock is recorded correctly and available as per business requirements.

  • Support store replenishment by preparing stock order from warehouse and maintaining accurate stock level records.
  • Complete daily floor walks in the store to understand each department’s stock requirements.
  • Immediately report products with manufacturing defect to the buying, planning and operations teams.
  • Liaise with buying regarding returns from customers due to quality issues and follow up with inventory control team to adjust stock against approved credit note.
  • Follow up with local vendors regarding replacement and repair for customers.
  • Responsible for ordering packing materials including bubble wrap, shrink wrap etc.
  • Ensure the stock room is set and maintained to Company and brand standards at all times, including but not limited to cleanliness, tidiness and replenishment of stock and packing materials.
  • Ensure compliance to all company, brand processes and policies relating to stock records and movement.
  • Ensure audits are completed as per Company requirement, and that discrepancies are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Manage stocktake operation as per the company processes and policies.
  • Maintain HSE practices in the working environment at all times to minimize the opportunity of damaged stock, and to reduce the risk of injury to self and colleagues.
  • Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.

 

 

 

  • Lead and develop a team of Stockroom Assistants to ensure compliance to Company and brand requirements.
  • Train, coach and develop new staff on stockroom standards as per company and brand processes and policies.
  • Conduct mid review with new staff and liaise with the store manager to manage performance.
  • Prepare the team for annual appraisal as per the company guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive working culture amongst colleagues and management.
  • Support internal teams as and when required with stock reservations, transfer requests and inventory queries ensuring optimum customer focus.
  • Liaise with management and VM team to assist in movement and construction of furniture items for display, and schedule required team support during seasonal set up.
