Role Purpose:

The Vendor Manager will be responsible to maintain quality of relationship and partnership with vendors on the 1ERP SAP S/4HANA implementation project. Quality and frequency of vendor performance updates, reports, and reviews will also be maintained by the Vendor Manager.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Manage all communication and decision making with internal stakeholder and vendors

Work as the single point of contact between MAF and the vendors for the implementation of SAP S/4HANA

Generate performance scorecard and collect data for key performance metrics

Conduct analytics on performance metrics data for vendor operational performance tracking and improvement

Support vendor’s key account managers in engaging demand groups to obtain clarifications around reports and corrective actions

Partner with demand group and vendor’s key account managers to go through change management process while making any updates to the SLAs

Conduct periodic demand group surveys to understand the demand group’s current service satisfaction level, improvement opportunities, and key pain points with vendor’s performance

Functional/Technical Competencies

 

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

 

Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor operations management and/or IT service management

Business know-how of SAP S/4HANA and cloud hosting is strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of business operations

Significant experience in procurement, and designing and implementing quality assurance processes

Strong communication and influencing skills, and demonstrated ability to work well with teams

Experience managing in hyperscalers and/or system integrators preferred

Prior experience in consulting preferred

Certified in knowledge of key quality systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO)
