RTR Tower Lead

Role Purpose:

The position is mainly responsible for Managing the R2R process, ensuring service level agreements are met. Managing preparation of all statutory compliance documentation. Engaging with the finance controller on potential issues concerning compliance requirements. Providing statutory and tax audit support.

 

Role Details:

 

  • Managing the end to end RTR process including allocation of resources & workload, complete any requirements to meet business expectations, metrics and other responsibilities thereby enabling achievement of day-to-day deliverables.
  • Lead any process changes or new process implementation within the R2R function.
  • Ensure team maintain all accounting records as required by IFRS, tax and company laws in the relevant countries business operate. These are to be made available as and when requested.
  • Ensure all required reconciliations are prepared timely and as per policy.
  • Provide technical IFRS support to the business on all financial accounting matters.
  • Challenge practices, develop and implement new, increasingly efficient processes for the RTR area.
  • Oversee key processes related to RTR including compliance with all statutory financial reporting, and Internal control requirements, including regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve all business unit requests, questions and issues for RTR process in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with all stakeholders to maintain high levels of service quality and efficiency for RTR process.
  • Continuously provide information to the senior management regarding KPIs, projects, initiatives, etc.
  • Lead the achievement of metrics and monitor and adherence to agreed targets specified for the R2R Team. Continuously monitor performance against objectives to ensure that identified metric targets are achieved.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues/risks and escalate to GS head of finance.
  • Drive resolution on escalated issues pertaining to service delivery.
  • Responsible for delivery on defined GS processes covering accounting, reporting, financial controls, and effective month, quarter and year end closing.
  • Provide on the job training and guidance to RTR team members to optimize their performance, including monitoring workloads to ensure timely completion of activities and equal distribution of work among team members.
