Role Purpose:

The position is mainly responsible for Managing the PTP process, ensuring service level agreements are met. P2P Tower Lead is the primary owner of the end-to-end Procure to pay process with the overall goal of delivering Procure to pay services while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness,
plays a critical role in building the capability and standards of the SSC P2P function and will support its development and sustainability by ensuring service delivery excellence.

Role Details:

  • Managing the end to end PTP process including allocation of resources & workload, complete any requirements to meet business expectations, metrics and other responsibilities thereby enabling achievement of day-to-day deliverables.
  • Lead any process changes or new process implementation within the PTP function.
  • Oversee key processes related to PTP including compliance with Internal control requirements, including Regulatory & Tax compliance.
  • Enforce the implementation of internal controls, management directives, policies, and procedures pertaining to PTP process in scope.
  • Own and ensure process documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, are accurately maintained and readily available to the business.
  • Ensure all payments are integrated into Accounts Payable and processed through the system having adhered to the ‘Purchase to Pay’ process
  • Assuring root cause analysis (RCAs) of errors and non-compliant invoices (NCIs) have been performed and corrective actions have been implemented. Challenge practices, develop and implement new, increasingly efficient processes for the PTP area.
  • Managing supplier relationships and dealing with queries and discrepancies in relation to the provided accounts payable services.
  •  Close communication and partnership with Internal Audit teams as well as Group External Auditors
  • Resolve all business unit requests, questions and issues for PTP process in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with all stakeholders to maintain high levels of service quality and efficiency for PTP process.
  • Develop and publish weekly / monthly / quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Lead the achievement of metrics and monitor and adherence to agreed targets specified for the PTP Team. Continuously monitor performance against objectives to ensure that identified metric targets are achieved.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues/risks and escalate to GS head of finance.
  • Drive resolution on escalated issues pertaining to service delivery.
  • Provide on the job training and guidance to PTP team members to optimize their performance, including monitoring workloads to ensure timely completion of activities and equal distribution of work among team members.
