JOB TITLE

 Manager - Business Development (Real Estate Expansion Manager) MAF Retail | Egypt Head Office 

ROLE SUMMARY
 

Manager - Business Development is responsible for the implementation of the expansion of sub-franchise plan in line with company’s strategy. The role holder is also responsible for ensuring all assigned projects are completed on time and in line with budget and overall plan.
 

ROLE PROFILE

 

  • Manage and ensure effective planning and implementation of the sub-franchise expansion plans based on the strategy and objectives defined.
  • Identify and propose partners for the opening of new sub-franchise stores. 
  • Perform feasibility studies including partner alliances to ensure success of new markets including legal, government regulations and the business set up process.
  • Participate in negotiating the terms with sub franchisees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the strategy for country sub-franchise development programs.
  • Monitor projects and teams and ensure proper execution and completion in a timely manner and in line with set plans and budget while ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Conduct regular reviews and monitor actual performance against set plans and KPIs and provide regular reports to the management.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with all internal departments and for the complete execution of the projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare periodical business reports to inform management about the current status of planned or actual projects.


REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications/education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred


Minimum experience

  • Minimum 6 years in the related managerial function
  • Preferably 4+ years in the retail business or closely related industry
