IT Operations Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY
Manage the Front-End Control and Ticketing Applications Also related Integrations to ensure that there is optimal performance with no or minimal downtime of applications and integrated solution across all business locations at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment.

ROLE PROFILE

• Ensure Application Standardization, Data Modelling, Data Integrity, Data Reporting, Report Customization, Governance of User Roles/ Permissions/ Access, Analysis and Delivery of Enhancement Needs, Innovation to add IT value (BI, Dashboards) to Business .
• The job Incumbent is responsible for managing FEC and ticketing Solutions, Database Management, Reports development and Integrations.
• Maintenance and Administration of Database Servers MSSQL Server and Other DB’s across Leisure, Entertainment and cinemas
• Design, test, implement, maintain, and control the organization’s physical, relational and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments
• Be responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation, documentation, security policy compliance and standards.
• Contribute to plan and manage the growth of the infrastructure capabilities of the department to cope with the business growth through application of best practices on different technologies
• Review Project Plans and highlight the areas of concern. Further, provide remedies to address bottlenecks
• Responsible and Support Applications such as Embed system - Vista - Galaxy Applications.

REQUIREMENTS
 

• 2-5 years in Application support /Point of sales systems is a must
• Fluent Communication in English.
• Strong Technical and Functional knowledge
• FMCG or Leisure and Entertainment Background Experience
• Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operational support.
• Experience in Web Services development and integrations Knowledge on Programming Languages like Java, C#, VB.NET, PHP and Scripting Languages like VBScript, JavaScript, and web development tools is a plus
