Human Capital Assistant Manager 

Role Purpose:

 

The Assistant Manager - Human Capital is responsible for assisting the Human Capital Manager for all Admin and Human Capital related responsibilities by following all internal policies and procedures.
 

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Recruitment

  • Support recruitment requisitions and coordinate with the Head Office to fulfil recruitment requirements
  • Communicate internal transfers between business units and aid logistical requirements
  • Participate in the on boarding and induction process for all employees

Employee Relations and Administration

  • Address employee concerns; investigate grievances and take necessary action to manage employee relations
  • Contribute to the efficient delivery of HC services to employees, in cooperation with the Head Office
  • Aid in the implementation of policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety and security, for accommodation facilities in order to maintain adherence to organizational requirements
  • Manage compliance of transportation vendors to agreed terms in line with established guidelines
  • Manage employee uniforms and attendance in the stores and ensure proper related documentation

Training and Performance

  • Assist in coordinating training programs with internal stakeholders and other training providers to ensure employee talent development

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
  • Apply and follow MAF Retail’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions
  • Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management

Minimum experience

  • 2+ years in Human Capital Department
