Role Purpose:

The position is responsible for assigned assets within the portfolio. Responsible for a yearly target and occupancy rate. Act a primary contact with existing tenants and ensure excellent customer service.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

  1. Responsible for a monthly, yearly target for assigned assets.
  2. Act as a primary point of contact for customers. Responsible for managing the client accounts and offering excellent customer service.  
  3. Attend client meeting and understand their needs.
  4. Monitor and analyse sales performance. Flag low sales and work on a plan to boost sales with the tenant.
  5. Responsible for prospecting new retail concepts suitable for the assigned operating assets and ensure that database is maintained of all potential clients.
  6. Responsible for completion of all renewals in the assigned assets.
  7. Prepare all necessary documentations including but not limited to concept approvals, proposals.
  8. Work closely with the Lease Contract Management team to ensure timely dispatch/collection of documents and payment
  9. Maintain a proper filing procedure to record all deal related correspondence, including maintaining tenant marketing brochures library.
  10. Work closely with the Finance team and Collections Team to ensure that all dues (including but not limited to documents, payments, sales reports) are collected on a timely basis.
  11. Liaise with the concerned Departments of SMBU e.g. Property Management and Finance etc., on day to day related matters of STR.
  12. Coordinate closely with the Retail Design & Delivery team whenever necessary (i.e. for new or existing units) ensuring the processes & procedures in place are strictly followed by all concerned.
  13. Maintain good relations with existing tenants, follow up on complaints, if any and assist in resolving problems and provide optimal level of service, following established policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain accurate filing of all Lease deal related information and agreement (on system e.g. Yardi / and/or SharePoint etc.) so as to enable the team to refer the same with respect to rent collection / renewal / extension etc., as well as to serve as a point of reference in case of any litigation.
  15. Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all time.
  16. Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values in the assigned area of responsibility and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
  17. Stay updated with the sales/marketing trends in the industry.

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

 

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field.

Minimum experience

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years work experience in managing Sales / Clients for short term lease / Lease Administration and Documentation activities preferably in a reputed Retail / Real Estate companies in GCC.
