Job Description:

Job Purpose:


To provide support to Majid Al Futtaim’s Human Capital Department with concentration on Talent Acquisition and Manpower Planning. Plan and execute end-to-end Recruitment processes, mainly supporting the Human Capital Business Partners.


Job Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Recruitment:
  • Responsible of the end-to-end process of recruitment and executing the Manpower plan effectively and efficiently following the directives of the Human Capital Director.
  • Support the Human Capital team to achieve effective, efficient and customer focused recruitment service to the organization, including offer documentation and screening / interviewing processes.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of current recruitment practice and ensure that policies/procedures are updated in line with best practice and changes in legislation.
  • Create a database to be then transferred on the new recruitment platform, and enable the readiness of the team to go live with the tool when launched with minimal disruption
  • Create templates and follow up on proper recruitment etiquette with candidates and managing candidate experience throughout the process
  • Strong awareness and knowledge of the industry trends and market conditions to ensure that Majid Al Futtaim attraction methods and processes maximize the potential for attracting and retaining talented and diverse candidates
  • Build an active network of contacts amongst other Recruitment networks as well as with Recruitment Professional across Majid Al Futtaim Group, Managing the relationships and making the process as efficient as possible
  • Arrange and plan the new hires orientation, on-boarding procedures and ensuring their joining formalities are completed to obtain smooth transaction
  • Ensure recruitment management information is collated accurately and made available for the Human Capital dashboard and any ad hoc requests


  • Emiratization, localization and Diversity:
  • Provide full support to the Nationalization strategy and ensure that Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls Business Unit complies with Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Majid Al Futtaim Holdings and the government requirements of employment of UAE Nationals.


  • MIS Reports:
  • Prepare and provide relevant periodic reports/dashboards (monthly, quarterly, annual MIS reports or as deemed necessary) on Recruitment and Manpower Planning.
  • Prepare and provide relevant information to the team to facilitate free flow of information related to Recruitment and Manpower planning.





Measure of Success – Illustrative KPIs:

  • Maintaining job descriptions, and ensure it’s up to date
  • Maintain recruitment and onboarding SLAs
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required or assigned 
  • Ensure open vacancies are closed within the Recruitment SLA.
  • Ensure all new recruits are On-boarded smoothly and completed the on-boarding formalities within the SLA.
  • Enter data into the Recruitment & HR system so that accurate records are maintained. Keeping candidate records 100% up to date and accurate in the recruiting database
  • Response & feedback are given to all applicants within 5-10 working days.
  • Recruitment Slates, On-Boarding reports and other reports are accurately updated on a weekly/monthly or on a need basis.
  • Maintain integrity by building good relationship with hiring managers and external vendors.


Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)


  • Excellent knowledge of recruitment tools and Interviewing skills / techniques
  • Thorough Knowledge of immigration and UAE labor law
  • Demonstrable previous experience of operating within an in-house recruitment environment.
  • High quality knowledge of recruitment best practice and demonstrable experience of implementing strategic approaches to enhancing recruiting effectiveness and delivering solutions.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence with credibility at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Well organized, with the ability to prioritize effectively and deal calmly with the pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Solution-orientated with the ability to adopt a commercial perspective to problems.
  • Team oriented, flexible and enthusiastic with a positive and committed approach.
  • Reliable and able to work on own initiative, with good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.


Minimum experience


5+ years in Human Resources

Executive search experience is a plus


Minimum Qualifications/education


 University Degree preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
