Location: Majid Al Futtaim Holding, Corporate Head Office

Job Purpose:

Supporting with the planning and execution of Majid Al Futtaim’s Public Affairs strategy.


Job Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The Public Affairs Manager will support the Director Public Affairs & Partnerships to:

  • Develop an internal and external stakeholder engagement strategy, including identifying stakeholders and developing, and maintaining a comprehensive mapping of the stakeholder landscape
  • Support and deliver effective stakeholder engagement activities, including by monitoring key stakeholders’ activity and identifying issues of relevance for Majid Al Futtaim
  • Maintain and update stakeholder data and ensure an accurate audit trail of all stakeholder engagement within the Public Affairs digital platform
  • Coordinate and develop a communications program in support of the Public Affairs strategy which delivers improved stakeholder engagement and enhanced communication with key stakeholders  
  • Assist in the preparation of written briefings, reports, submissions and correspondence in relation to Public Affairs activities and initiatives
  • Maintain a thorough and current understanding of regional market challenges and opportunities that may impact Majid Al Futtaim’s Public Affairs strategy direction and identify priority themes
  • Provide regular updates on key external community and government engagement initiatives, events, issues that may impact Majid Al Futtaim’s Public Affairs strategy direction
  • Develop and evolve the narrative and messaging for the Public Affair unit and ensure consistency across the Company
  • Coordinate Majid Al Futtaim’s participation for Public Affairs partnered events including development of agendas, speaking notes and briefing documents
  • Ensures Public Affairs activities and initiatives are coordinated and aligned with corporate communications initiatives 
  • Provide administrative and project management support to the Director Public Affairs & Partnerships as required


Qualifications, Personal Characteristics and Required Background/Experience:

  • Work experience minimum 6 years
  • Background: Public affairs/ Communication/ Government affairs
