Job Purpose:

  • The Pricing Department is responsible for data-driven insights and recommendations in order to provide the right product at the right price, to the right consumer, at the right time, with the right distribution channel.
  • Our objective is to develop a long & short-term pricing and distribution strategy for the LEC Division (Leisure, Entertainments & Cinemas) across all our operating markets. as well as support in building the overall commercial strategy in order to generate topline growth.
  • Our role is to monitor the business health, forecast future pricing and revenue performance, find growth levers, and identify gaps and opportunity using existing and new data sources.
  • Moreover, the Pricing Department oversee the development of a pricing, distribution channel and promotional strategy for the organization in order to support our revenue targets and commercial objectives.
  • The Pricing Manager role is to support the Pricing Director in developing and executing the pricing and promotional strategy across the various business units in each of their relevant markets.
  • The Pricing Manager will also be the Pricing Lead for some of the business units and will have to work directly with the team in identifying gaps and opportunities, in order to develop tactical initiatives to continuously improve beyond the established strategy.
  • In coordination with Finance, Sales and Marketing the Pricing Manager ensure that the company goals and targets are met across the various distribution channels and will support the execution action plans aiming to improve performance by pricing & promotion initiatives.
  • The Pricing Manager will be expected to interpret data and inform on pricing decisions that maximize Average Price, Admissions/Visitors, and overall commercial value.
  • He/She is responsible for continuously developing our pricing framework and promotional calendar in coordination with Sales, Marketing & Finance, and should be able to manage and lead various senior management and executive level meetings and workshops in the absence of its direct reporting line.

 

Job Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop, manage, implement a Promotional Plan for each of the required business units across their respective market
  • Execute and deliver on the pricing strategy established for each of the business units
  • Advise and recommend on pricing levels (strategic and tactical) in order to maximize revenue and sale performance
  • Recommends Revenue and Sales budget for the various business units
  • Support in defining MAF LEC Division pricing strategy with the Pricing Director including product, commission, discount and promotions
  • Act as a “Performance Expert” for their business units, providing concise reporting and able to understand a business performance through its segmentation (channel mix, nationality mix, location mix, etc.)
  • Analyze yield performance, yield mix, revenue dilution/displacement and discount monitoring for current and new promotional activity in order to maximize topline performance
  • Forecasting various levels of demands for specific promotions, offers, or in line with the yearly budgeting exercise
  • Ability to coordinate various Sales & Marketing project and their execution, by developing a holistic commercial strategy (pricing, channel, segment)
  • Develop and manage pricing processes, performance tools, and promotional programs and translate company goals into pricing actions
  • Assist in the development of our product strategy and operational activities within the organization including project support, coordination, reporting and data analysis
  • Identify areas of improvements and optimization of pricing performance from a sales, marketing and communication perspective
  • Builds, maintains, and improves the existing pricing & performance tools in order to assess current and future pricing action and discounts
  • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned projects
  • Work with Marketing in developing company marketing overall pricing plan as well as campaign/tactics specific strategy to ensure revenue potential maximization
  • Lead various meetings at different level of the organization pitch offers/strategies to the management as well as coordinate & communicate with the various stakeholders

  • Candidates may be required to travel in countries/regions we are operating (United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain)

 

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Finance, Analytics or related fields
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on tight time schedules
  • Strong written communication and reporting skills
