The position is mainly responsible to set the strategy and tactics for the Short Term Retail within the Specialty Leasing function, lead the STR Team and ensure the strategy and tactics are achieved by leasing, managing, achieving and maximizing the set revenue targets from the STR inventory in UAE Mall including Kiosks, Wall Units, Popups, ATMs & Other Services in the operating assets ensuring best practices implementation and high quality displays in the common area as defined by SMBU (Shopping Malls Business Unit) Specialty Leasing. 

 

  1. Supports the head of department in drafting the annual strategy for STR in the UAE Shopping Malls
  2. Manages daily/weekly/monthly STR reports
  3. Makes business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable in accordance with organization policies and procedures
  4. Leads his/her STR Team Direct Reports by offering guidance, mentorship, on the day to day deal making
  5. Implements the STR Leasing strategy in terms of revenue targets
  6. Proposes unitary budgets of the STR inventory and discusses with Senior Management and Finance for approval. Ensures Budget is communicated to his/her team and works on quarterly forecast submissions
  7. Creates new client relationships in the market in order to grow client base in terms resulting in direct business growth and effectively manage relationships with existing clients
  8. Leads the sales process from prospecting, proposal, negotiation, deal closing and maintaining clients’ relationships
  9. Works closely with Lease Contract Management team to process binding tenants/clients’ agreements
  10. Coordinates with the RDD and VM teams for Kiosks/Wall Units/… design approvals and implementation
  11. Reviews market intelligence presented by your team for competing shopping malls’ Specialty Leasing activities
  12. Ensures compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental Policies and Human Capital Policies and Procedures at all times

Minimum experience

  • Minimum 10 Years work experience in Sales, Leasing, Specialty Leasing or Account Management
     

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Marketing or equivalent.
