The Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) is responsible in aligning organization objectives & strategies with talents in designated business units. The HCBP serves as a consultant to management on Human Capital related subjects and seeks to develop integrated solutions. Furthermore, HCBP will formulate partnership across all levels to deliver value added services that reflects on the organization strategy, values, culture and competencies of the Leadership Competencies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify the skills and capabilities that need to be developed in the short and long term to ensure sustainable performance.
  • Lead implementation of the annual calendar for resourcing and talent processes ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Conduct the development and ongoing management of internal and external talent identification process with clear principles & competencies agreed with the business unit head.
  • Establish an EVP and employment brand that supports talent acquisition of high-quality talents.
  • Design and oversees effective strategies for sourcing, recruiting and evaluating qualified talents.
  • Build relationships with third party suppliers, education bodies and communities to build diverse source of required talent to fill medium-to long-term needs.
  • Lead the design of assessment and selection processes to give Majid Al Futtaim Finance robust insights about talents.
  • Develop detailed reward plan by incorporating existing tool such as momenteur for each business unit.
  • Ensure that reward plans are linked and supportive of overall reward strategy and other talent activities such as performance management and employee engagement.
  • Manage the delivery of ongoing and annual pay and reward programs for Majid Al Futtaim Finance.
  • Role-model effective performance management and creation of a performance culture in all business units.
  • Monitor, measure & evaluate key organization performance metrics, providing reports on trends/issues to the leadership team in Majid Al Futtaim Finance.
  • Lead the design of employee engagement action plan processes ensuring clear linkage to strategic initiatives and outcomes, and championing with OHI Champions to ensure full engagement in meeting action goals.
  • Work with leadership team of Majid Al Futtaim Finance to facilitate, challenge and ensure momentum across actions resulting from employee feedback.
  • Involve leadership team in Majid Al Futtaim Finance in defining and delivering cultural initiatives to embed organization’s vision and values.
  • Ensure that all activity relating to ER is consistent and in line with Majid AL Futtaim Policies and UAE legislation.
  • Assess ER plans against metrics and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Manage employee grievances, oversee investigation process and ensure resolving conflicts.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HC team/group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • To be delegated as authorized signatory on behalf of the Human Capital Director of Majid Al Futtaim Finance when as required.
  • Delegates responsibilities effectively to team members and allow them to manage own work and associated decisions.
  • Regularly reviews team member’s outcome & provide constructive feedback.
  • Invest time and effort to coach team members and unlock their potential and career trajectory.

 

Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)

  • Excellent knowledge of Talent Acquisition tools and Interviewing skills / techniques
  • Thorough Knowledge of immigration and UAE labor law
  • Demonstrable previous experience of operating within an in-house recruitment environment.
  • High quality knowledge of recruitment best practice and demonstrable experience of implementing strategic approaches to enhancing recruiting effectiveness and delivering solutions.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence with credibility at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Well organized, with the ability to prioritize effectively and deal calmly with the pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.

Minimum experience

 

5+ years’ experience in Human Capital

 

Minimum Qualifications/education

 

University Degree major in Human Resources

Any recognized professional HR certification is preferred
