General Manager - Analytics

The GM of Analytics is responsible to drive analytics roadmap and strategy in Lifestyle, to integrate and streamline analytics efforts across the organization, to establish the analytics way of thinking into the daily operations and to drive the consolidation of use cases and business intelligence reports & dashboards across the company.

  • Set the analytics, BI and digital vision and strategy
  • Communicate MAF Lifestyle analytics strategy, agenda, priorities, ways of working to all relevant stakeholders
  • Own the analytics maturity assessment to objectively understand current state and set future state
  • Establish convergence,  standardizing analytical problem solving, data, tech, people practices and adoption of common language/change   management.
  • Cross-leverage data assets, analytical assets, tools and processes from across business functions and establishing global benchmarks and governance to share knowledge and scale.
  • Set-up or leverage current communities of practice (Insights, Data Science) for value cross-pollination
  • Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy
  • Act as an idea incubator for new use cases; identifying new business needs, bringing innovation, and assessing & prioritizing among new use cases
  • Re-configure and elevate resources to build the Lifestyle Analytics unit.  
  • Drive the analytics agenda, streamlining ideation, creation & consumption lifecycle across use case spectrum
  • Develop and own use case masterplan, proactively updating it with new initiatives and track progress of existing initiatives.
  • Formulate use case definition; objective, approach, deliverables, timeline and expected impact
  • Codify knowledge into “playbooks” to ensure smooth scaling of use cases
  • Establish a structured framework for BI and use case lifecycle.
  • Set up squads for Proof of Concept, develop the methodology for Minimum viable product, manage the backlog, run pilots and measure impact.
  • Ensure delivery of use cases internally, through Holding Center of Excellence or external partners, including quality assurance, test & learn, and knowledge transfer
  • Align and Initiate BI platforms requirements and work streams
  • Analyze and share insights that drives impact to the business
  • Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.
  • Own definition and implementation of Data strategy, in relation with Holding COE
  • Establish thorough data feasibility assessment and definition of success for each initiative
  • Set-up governance to set and gate-check milestones for all data initiatives
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
  • Provide inputs while developing Lifestyle corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation
  • Provide inputs on the development of annual budget
  • Review financial reports for accuracy and consistency
  • Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost
