Controls Specialist

Operational Responsibilities

  • Manage the data flow between food businesses and providing all essential integration assistance
  • Decent knowledge about the food industry systems and data flow
  • Align all aspects of the company with planned developments
  • Manage all ongoing modifications and communicating with the business unit, UAE team, and F&B system for data quality and material master file maintenance
  • Assist the F&B departments with the data upload and smooth operation of data standards management
  • Maintain data consistency throughout the back-office, front-office systems
  • Ensure that all hardware and systems are stable and in good working order for users, functionality is tested and approved
  • Provide first-level support to end users for all of the store's systems
  • Maintain the accounts and data of users on the store file server in good working order
  • Participate in the implementation and ownership of new opening projects
  • Conduct a quarterly update and double-check the list of software licenses and associated devices
  • Control that the daily sales communicated automatically in daily basis

 

Processes and Procedures

  • Support the F&B team in system flawless operation
  • Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company
  • Verify that every data uploading complies with the standards
  • Report technical or system issues, and follow up with the hotline support on the solution
  • Create and maintain data master
  • Create supplier master
  • Look after creation all sites and boms
  • Look after user rights
  • Links raw materials to sites
  • Upload all boms, recipes
  • Support and maintain product site filters
  • Activate and deactivate items
  • Process work flow creation
  • Maintain relation between scale and sage ( PLU)
  • Reports safety tock levels, support in forecasting, recipes uploads, amendments
  • A master sage system user

Finance Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment of procedures in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Assist in monitoring allocated budget to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
  • Provide inputs on cost reduction measures

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
  • Apply and follow MAF Retail’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions
  • Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required
