Role Summary:

Provide leadership for a “Project” in the due diligence, feasibility, business plan, joint venture (where appropriate), master plan, infrastructure plan, product mix, design and approvals stages. Lead and co-ordinate inputs of sales, marketing, property management and project management. Co-ordinate as necessary internal and external teams in successfully preparing development plans. Lead internal and external project teams in successfully executing commercially viable development options.

 

Role Profile:

• Influence And Manage Stakeholders In Preparing Business Plans, Other Meetings And Acting As Majid Al Futtaim Representative For The Project When Project Head Is Not Present.
• Manage Negotiations On Jv Contracts And Shareholder Agreements When In A Jv Structure. Assist In Land Sale And Purchase Agreements, Lease Negotiations, Zoning Rights And Maf Corporate Governance Procedures
• Identify And Define Scope And Strategy With Head Office & Project Head For Delivery Of The Development Pipeline Including Legal, Financial, Market Research, Strategic Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Architects, Planners And All Engineering Discipl
• Lead Product Definition, Design Brief, Project Brief, Cost Estimation And Budgeting Initiatives With The Help Of Project Management And Other Functions Within The Company.
• Lead In Identifying And Documenting Business Risks Including Political Risk. Analyze, Evaluate And Rank Overall Risk Exposure, Including Technical, Financial And Human Resources. Support The Analysis Of Risk Mitigation Measures.
• Responsible In Supporting The Project Head With The Health And Safety Of The Entire Project Team
• Support The Project Head With Leading And Coaching Project Teams To Ensure Business Cases Achieve Stakeholder Approvals.
• Provide Regular Feedback With Regard To Country/Region Business Plans Including Project Status, Risks And Approved Feasibility Hurdle Rate To Relevant Executive Management.

Requirements:

• Wholistic Understanding Of Development From Inception To Completion
• Understanding Of Residential, Infrastructure And Landscape Design (And Sub Disciplines) And Ability To Balance Optimal Design Within Cost Constraints To Maximize Product And Profitability
• Ability To Prepare Overall Development Programmes And Schedules Including - Brief, Design, Approvals, Sales, Marketing, Construction And Handover.
• Strong Understanding Of Real Estate Market, Finance, Feasibilities And Business Plans.
• 15+ Years’ Experience (Minimum 10 Years In Real Estate)
• Graduate Degree In Property/Construction, Architecture, Planning, Urban Design Or Engineering, Master’S Degree In Above Disciplines Or Mba Preferred
