Category Specialist - Fit out

ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Category Associate is to primarily support the business unit through the management and processing of purchase requisition activities supporting various development or operational stores.

ROLE PROFILE

• Conduct daily operational procurement purchase requests to support retail capex developments and operating stores.
• Procure, expedite and schedule deliveries of materials, equipment, goods and services.
• Identify, gather, analyze and summarize purchase requirements and demand.
• Manage price negotiation and finalization for supply of goods.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships.
• Supply market research and supplier analysis.
• Supplier evaluation, registration and on-boarding.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years’ experience in procurement.
• Good understanding of JD Edwards and SAP Ariba.
• Good conceptual and analytical skills..
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Understanding of procurement processes, systems and practices.
