The primary purpose of the Area Manager role is managing and developing the store teams, in line with the strategic plan set by the brand and the company, providing managerial direction for the success of the stores, directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales whilst minimizing costs. The role is responsible to ensure Retail Store Standards are at the highest level and to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of store operations that provides the customer


  • Ensure sales and operational goals and expectations are achieved through regular monitoring
  • Responsible for ensuring that store managers and their staff keep stores to the highest possible standards, are well organized and properly merchandised at all times.
  • Achieve sales targets through a pro[1]active commercial agenda, developing and planning new business initiatives that drive overall sales and business improvement.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customer service initiatives are in place, resolving issues quickly and courteously.
  • Schedule regular store visits and provide required level of support to all stores catering to their specific areas of concern.

  • Drive promotional opportunities and events in stores in conjunction with the marketing teams
  • Delivery of timely new store openings in conjunction with the RDD Team, from feasibility to store opening, establishing the highest caliber of store team, best retail standards and operational processes and practices.


  • High school certificate
  • Qualification in Retail related field is an added advantage
  • 7+ years’ experience in retail operations with minimum 3 years in Store Management role.
  • Fashion industry experience is required
