Title: Product Manager


Division/Department: Omni-Channel


Role Purpose:


The Product Manager is responsible for partnering with Product Owners and cross-functional product teams to develop effective product strategies, visions and execution plans with a mission to shape and deliver CBR products that transform end-user experience. The role holder is also responsible for creating product requirements and defining measurable objectives in collaboration with various Omni-channel functions to maximize the CBR efficiency.


Role Summary:


Product Management and Delivery


  • Identify product requirements through collaborative engagements to support product strategies
  • Design product journeys that solve business issues and capture opportunities, ensuring both creativity and relevance
  • Understand the end to end customer journey and assess the effectiveness of product strategies at each customer touchpoint
  • Prepare and present product vision (eg. journeys) and proposals to relevant stakeholders and ensure incorporation of feedback
  • Recommend product features and enhancements that will maximize the customer experience and digital offerings


Target Setting and Work Priorities


  • Model Agile principles by maintaining a squad backlog and provide effective prioritization for backlog
  • Lead products teams in implementing and applying standard for quality assurance, project communications, and change management methodologies
  • Ensure that regular meetings are conducted with the Squad  to update the Squad product backlog
  • Ensure effective planning of Squads’ sprint, Tribes’ super sprint to reaffirm priorities and clarify the requirements
  • Ensure regular interaction with other Squads and other tribes as part of Squad synchronization ceremonies to monitor and ensure effective implementation of cross-Squad tasks


Squad Development Contribution


  • Define the set of necessary competences in the Squad, in cooperation with the Tribe Architects and Chapter Leads



Definition of Success


  • Definition of an effective product roadmap
  • Implement of the assigned product as per the required standards
  • Building an effective squad backlog


Minimum Qualifications/Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering or related field
  • Background that comprises both solid business understanding as well as high-level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery


Minimum experience


  • 7+ years of strong experience owning and delivering digital products
  • Experience working in and leading agile teams
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, start-ups or similar dynamic digital environment




  • Experience developing holistic product strategies across multiple merchandise categories
  • Advocate and thought leadership for agile processes and scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of commercial goals and how to implement design changes to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple business areas (e.g., marketing, sales, finance, operations, technology)
  • Background that comprises both solid business understanding as well as high level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery
  • English (Full professional proficiency - Required)
  • Arabic is an advantage
