ROLE DESCRIPTION

 

Title: Digital UX Designer

 

Division/Department: Omni-Channel

 

Reporting to: Head of Digital UX/CX

 

Role Purpose:

 

The Digital UX Designer is responsible collaborating with product teams to understand customers need and business requirements to design and develop effective end-to-end customer experiences in store & digital. The role holder is also responsible for apply innovative techniques and tools to create elegant user experiences.

 

Role Summary:

 

UX Integration into Digital Offerings and Products

 

  • Create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches and techniques to solve end-users' problems and pain points
  • Design and deliver product visualization based on input from received from product and design teams
  • Develop wireframes and task flows based on business and user needs
  • Identify and conduct user interface experiments in collaboration with product and design teams; conduct analytics based on data from real life experimentation
  • Analyse user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience
  • Conduct usability tests in order to ensure a seamless user- experience and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the final design is fit for purpose based upon the brief from the relevant stakeholders

Collaboration and Communication

 

  • Support Product Managers and Product Owners define both long and short-term vision and roadmap for digital products
  • Collaborate with other designers within and across team to problem solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency across products

 

 

Definition of Success

 

  • Definition of customer-centric user and customer experience across digital offerings
  • Effective stakeholder collaboration to enhance customer experience and fulfil business requirements
  • Deployment of best practices related to business and customer experience

 

Minimum Qualifications/education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, or any other related field

 

Minimum experience

 

  • 5+ years in the retail business or closely related industry Extensive years design experience in a digital product environment
  • Have a proven and successful record of having delivered a product project, from the design stage all the way through to its launch

 

Skills

 

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
  • Well rounded user-centered design portfolio that spans some combination of web, mobile, tablet, TV, and wearables
  • Graphical and Visual design skills, including hands on experience with diverse set of software such as Adobe suite, OmniGraffle, Balsamiq, Azure, or other tools for graphic design, visual design
  • Experience in Design Research, conducting 1:1 qualitative user research, concept testing, usability testing and A/B testing
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process
  • English (Full professional proficiency - Required)
  • Arabic is an advantage
