Advertising Manager (Creative)

Role Purpose:

Lead a team of designers and communication experts with the scope of designing visual assets for campaigns and tactical communication across platforms , bringing ideas to life in line with Brand and communication guidelines

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Advertising Strategy

  • Create and consolidate the monthly project / campaigns calendar
  • Translate marketing communication objectives and technical briefs into creative briefs, liaising with marketing and product teams
  • Ensure visual harmony , consistency and alignment with the look and feel of the brand applications across channels
  • Generate ideas that will elevate the brand and lead to strong and appealing communication
  • Create and maintain  a visual system that will ensure consistency across tactical communication
  • Create a creative database of templates and campaigns assets that can be utilized for future campaign building on communication consistency.
  • Present proposals and visual direction to Marketing / Communication team

 

People:

  • Promoting creativity among the team by cultivating the spirit of thinking outside the box , working together, being passionate
  • Assign projects and tasks to the teams and monitor all stages from the briefing to proposal submission

 ensuring effective (in line with the brief) and on time delivery

  • Manage the operational flow from the briefing stage to production between teams and production / media agencies
  • Inspire / Support the team to develop and maintain a good knowledge of the brand and understand  the client requirements
  • Organize weekly meetings to assign projects and align on deadlines

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of Branding guidelines, typography, imaging , graphics and visual language development 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to inspire / manage creative teams to give their best
  • Knowledge of  InDesign , Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A creative mind – Passionate about making campaigns communication strong

that inspires customers and elevates the Brand

  • A good eye on details

 

A proven portfolio of projects as a Creative Head / Marketing Lead  (Past experience in Retail is a PLUS)

 

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Minimum Qualifications/education

Bachelor  / Diploma in Marketing , Branding or Advertising

Minimum experience

6+ years working experience in Marketing/ Branding agency or in a Marketing/ Communication managerial role                       (Previous experience in Retail it is a PLUS)

Preferred Languages

English (Full professional proficiency - Required)

Arabic (Arabic is a plus)
